When are the public first aid courses?


The last Thursday and Friday of every month (Usually - although Nov and Dec this year will be 18&19th of Nov and 16&17th of Dec). You can click on the ‘Book Online’ tab to see upcoming public first aid course dates and secure a position. The course starts at 8:30am Bookings are essential - secure your spot by booking online, or for larger bookings via phone or email.




Where are the public first aid course located?


Public courses are held at The HOPE Centre, 234 Commerce street Kaitaia.




How do I register for a public first aid course?

Do you accommodate group bookings?


Yes absolutely.

Please email us the details and we will work with you for a suitable date and location.

Please note: Minimum 10 people and a suitable learning environment will need to be organised.




Will you travel?


Yes, we will travel from the Cape South to your workplace. We charge a 75cents per KM travel fee for courses outside of Kaitaia Township.




Are your courses NZQA accredited?


Yes they are, we offer unit standards 6400, 6401, 6402 and 25459.




What happens during Covid alert levels?


Alert level 1- courses will run as normal both public and workplaces Alert level 2- public courses will run with smaller class numbers and workplaces should be able to run as arranged. Face coverings, sign in contact tracing and hand hygiene will be required. Alert level 3- courses will be rescheduled Alert level 4- courses will be rescheduled
